Our Real Estate Journey

In 2004, after the birth of our son, I stepped away from a successful high-tech sales career to focus on family life. We relocated to the Midwest to be closer to loved ones, and I began exploring ways to contribute to our long-term goals—eventually finding my path in real estate.

Though our first investment property dates back to 1998 in Bend, Oregon, our real growth began in 2008 when we started investing out of state in Arizona—right in the middle of a housing market crash. It wasn’t easy: managing from afar, navigating tenant issues, and learning as we went. But it paid off.

Today, we own five rentals across short-, mid-, and long-term models. Every property has been a fixer-upper, and we’ve loved bringing them back to life. We renovate each home to a standard we’d be happy to live or vacation in, believing that good design and thoughtful details can truly transform a space.
